Meet Jennifer

I am an Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and I have been working with individuals, couples, and families in a counseling setting since 2016, and before that in various ministry settings throughout my adult life. I am passionate about helping people find healing and wholeness as they strive to live their lives in the most meaningful way possible.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Mike, since 2010 and we are the proud parents of five teen and young adult children. We make our home in the beautiful city of Camarillo and thoroughly enjoy living close enough to the beach to be able to get there fairly regularly to soak up the sunshine while listening to the waves crash. I also love singing, drinking coffee, eating chocolate, being completely mesmerized by the fish in my freshwater aquariums both at home and in my office, and winding down at night by relaxing with my husband and watching our favorite TV shows.

I attended Hillcrest Christian School in Thousand Oaks from preschool through 12th grade, and my mom taught there as well, so it really was like a second home for me throughout my childhood years. After high school I went on to L.I.F.E. Bible College (now Life Pacific University), where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible with a focus on Biblical languages. After several years and a wealth of life experiences, I went back to school and obtained my Master of Science Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have worked in private practice since my grad school practicum work and have also mixed in some work in agency settings to create a well-rounded variety of professional experience.
